On this day, you will be packed with safari briefs on the general safari plan, accommodations and confirmation of the exactly time you will be picked up to start in the next day.

Day 2

Arusha-Tarangire National Park

Arusha-Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at the hotel in Arusha the tour departs at 7:30am. First stop is Arusha Shoppers for any last minute purchases before we head off on safari. Afterwards we head towards the Tarangire National Park for a game drive with picnic lunch at the park. Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the center of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park

Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater and descend over 600 meters to explore one of Africa's richest wildlife habitats. The crater is home to large herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes, elands, warthogs, hippos, and elephants, as well as an impressive population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard. You may also spot flamingos and other water birds around the shallow alkaline lakes within the crater. After enjoying your game drive and picnic lunch, you will ascend the crater and continue with an evening drive to Serengeti National Park for dinner and your overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park central to North

After breakfast, depart for a deep game drive to North Serengeti across the Mara River chasing the migration and the river crossing – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Then heard to the Northern part known as the Kogatende area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Mara River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park.

Early morning game drive to North Serengeti. This will be a second full day game drive in the northern Serengeti with dinner and overnight at Serengeti Heritage Lodge in the northern Serengeti. This will be a full day game drive chasing the wildebeest migration along the Mara river.

After breakfast, you will depart from Kogatende in Northern Serengeti and begin your journey toward Mto wa Mbu. Enjoy a game drive en route as you explore the vast Serengeti plains, with opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. Depending on the season, you may encounter herds of wildebeest and other migrating animals as they move through the ecosystem. Continue your scenic drive through the changing landscapes of Tanzania, arriving in Mto wa Mbu in the evening for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 7

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful and diverse park located along the Great Rift Valley. Despite its compact size, the park offers an incredible variety of landscapes, from the shores of the alkaline lake to the lush groundwater forests and the dramatic escarpment rising above it.

During your game drive, you will have the opportunity to spot large troops of baboons, elephants moving through the forest, giraffes, zebras, and a wide range of bird species, including flamingos that gather around the lake. The park is also known for its rare tree-climbing lions, which make every visit unique.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your final game drive. Later, you will depart Lake Manyara and begin your journey back to Arusha, Kilimanjaro International Airport, or your preferred drop-off location, marking the end of your memorable safari with Joagro Safaris Tanzania.
