Day 1

Arrival – Transfer to Arusha

On arrival to Tanzania, you will be transferred to the lodge by our Nature in Spirit Naturalist Guide, where you will stay in a charming atmosphere and enjoy every comfort you need. As you overland to Arusha, which is approximately 1hours 30 minutes from Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will see locals alongside the road doing their daily activities. Do not shy to ask your Driver Guide to stop the vehicle for you to experience anything interesting happening along the road. As you get to the hotel check-in, get settled, rest and get ready to start your adventure tomorrow.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After early breakfast, embark on your adventurous journey to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch. This park has a worldwide reputation for surprising large herds of elephants and medieval baobab trees. It draws its name from Tarangire River, the only permanent source of water in the park that spans approximately 2,850 square kilometers. Among many, Tarangire National Park is home to numerous species of animals, birds and flora. You will have lunch in one of the designated picnic areas then proceed with game drive in other parts of the park.

On your game drive along the Tarangire River, search for zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, dik-diks, impalas, elands, grant's gazelles, monkeys, banded mongooses, lions, leopards, cheetahs, caracals, honey badgers and many more. African wild dogs can be also rarely spotted in Tarangire National Park, hunting for their preys.
Later in the afternoon, you will do game en-route to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast at lodge depart to Lake Manyara National Park well known for its tree-climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos along the lake. Here you will see the Great Rift Valley escarpment, flowering plants, an evergreen forest and the shallow alkaline Lake Manyara that makes the park spectacular with many photographing opportunities. Tree-climbing lions can be spotted in Lake Manyara National Park although spotting them is a game chance.

The Park is also home to thousands of herbivores such as zebras, gazelles, buffalos, bushbucks, waterbucks, giraffes, baboons, hippopotamus, elephants, warthog and many others.
You will stop to a designated picnic site for lunch before you proceed with game drive before you transfer to the lodge in Karatu town for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast at 07:30, you will depart with picnic lunch and head to Ngorongoro crater. Explore wildlife in the self-contained ecosystem of Ngorongoro crater. This is a land of multiple uses where wild animals and human beings have managed to co-exist together in harmony. You will drive more than 600 meters deep to Ngorongoro crater, a fallen mountain believed to erode more than millions of years ago.

You will search for various animals from endangered black rhinos, lions, buffaloes, elephants, gazelles, warthogs, hippos, zebras, waterbucks, hyenas, jackals, to large flocks of flamingos along Lake Magadi. You will have lunch in the park’s designated area then proceed with game drive.
Late in the afternoon after an eventful game viewing day, you will return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5

Game enroute to Serengeti National Park

Game enroute to Serengeti National Park

You'll begin the day with the scenic drive towards the Serengeti after breakfast0. Along the way we'll pass through the rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you might be lucky enough to encounter wild animals like baboon, vervet monkeys, warthogs and buffalos. As you enter Serengeti you will witness Africa’s iconic savannah landscape and sheer number of ungulates roaming these grassy plains.

You will drive straight to camp for lunch, rest and head out for an afternoon game drive
exploring Serengeti. As sun dusk draws close enjoy the views of the sunset as you drive back to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6

Early in the morning after having tea/ coffee at 6:00, depart at 6:30 with breakfast for a morning game drive. You will have an opportunity to see the nocturnal very early in the morning conducting various activities before they go hide. You will have breakfast in the bush along with the beautiful golden colored sunrise. You will relish a number of wildlife in this park known to have the highest concentration of wildlife as you proceed with game drive after breakfast.
At around 11:30 you will drive back to camp for lunch and rest, then later proceed for an afternoon game drive.

Depart

Today marks the end of your safari, however, one last adventure is left as you drive to the airstrip after breakfast. You will board on a flight that will land at Arusha and have lunch before you transfer to Kilimanjaro International airport for your onward flight.
