Today you be picked from Kigali International Airport/ Hotel by a representative of Big Apes Africa and transferred to Musanze town near Volcanoes National park in preparation for your Golden monkey tracking experience. A city tour of Kigali City is possible depending on the arrival time.

Mount Bisoke Hike and return to the Lodge

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to Volcanoes National park for a briefing before embarking on probably the most popular hiking trail in Rwanda. The hike take averagely 6 hours, 4 of going up and 2 coming down. Reward yourself with some of the best scenery and fresh air. After this activity, you will be transferred to back to the lodge where you can choose to relax.

Volcanoes NP Golden monkey trekking and transfer to Bwindi NP

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to Volcanoes National park for a briefing before entering the forest to search for the bamboo associated primates. Some consider this as the next best thing after gorilla trekking. You will be allowed one hour with these beautiful Albertine rift endemics. After this activity, you will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in preparation for Gorilla trekking. Dinner and overnight stay.

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi forest with an optional Community/Cultural tour

After an early breakfast, you will drive to the briefing point in the forest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to get to be enlightened about your adventure with the Mountain Gorillas. You are advised to carry enough drinking water and a lunch box. At a cost of 15 US dollars, you can get a potter to carry your bag and give you a hand in slippery or steep parts of the forest. After the briefing, you are distributed into groups of eight and led by a park ranger into the forest where you will spend one hour with the gentle giants. A rain gear is important considering that Bwindi is a tropical rainforest. After gorilla tracking, relax at the lodge or take a community visit.

: Ishasha Game drive on your way to Northern sector Queen Elizabeth NP

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On your way, you will take a drive through Ishasha the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth famous for its tree climbing lions. After the drive you will immediately proceed to the Northern Sector of Queen Elizabeth NP and you will have lunch along the way.

Morning Game drive & Boat trip on Kazinga Channel

After an early breakfast, head for a game drive in search of animals like elephants, buffalos, lions, leopard and more. This is the most bio-diverse park yet not the biggest with a mammal checklist of 95species and 610 species of birds and much more. After Lunch, head to the southern part of the park for a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel with chances of seeing elephants drinking water, hippos, crocodiles, water birds and more.

Chimp trek in Kalinzu Forest reserve & Transfer to Lake Mburo

After breakfast, drive to Kalinzu forest managed by National Forest Authority where you will do chimpanzee tracking. After Chimpanzee tracking, you will be transferred to Lake Mburo National Park. Have a game drive on your way in. this is the smallest savannah park but heavily populated. Its gives good break from a gorilla safari or even a fresh start for a safari depending on the route plan of your Safari. As you drive through easy to see are Zebras, Impalas, Waterbucks and the list goes on. Please note that on a good day you can see a leopard but better still during the night game drive which can be arranged.

Morning Walking Safari and transfer to Entebbe

Today begins with coffee and a walking safari into the wild L. Mburo in search of wildlife. After the adventure, return to the Lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, you will embark on your return journey. Lunch stop at the Equator and proceed to Entebbe to start on your journey back home.
