Tarangire National Park
Your safari starts!
Tarangire National Park is also a very scenic park with expansive views of baobab-studded grasslands. Tarangire River, a permanent river attracts many animals, especially during the dry season (June-November). It brings the park to life with the large herds of elephants, wildebeests, buffalos, zebras, and Grant's gazelles. Tarangire is also a good place to spot lions and shy leopards. The park owes its name to the Tarangire River, which flows through the area. It is characterized by dense vegetation of acacia and mixed woodland. The area around Tarangire River, however, is dominated by huge baobab trees and old doom palm trees to a lesser prominence, as well as black cotton grass. Its unique aspect is the annual animal immigration that takes place during the dry season.
At the end of the afternoon, you will go to your accommodation for dinner and your overnight stay are at Omega View Hotel.

Ngorongoro Crater
Today, you have to rise up early as your driver will take you to one of the most special places on this planet. The crater is a non-active volcano. To reach the crater floor, you have to make quite a descent. In the Ngorongoro Crater, the diversity of animals and flora is immense. All the animals of the “Big Five” (elephant, black rhino, buffaloes, leopard and lion) can be found in the crater. In Lake Magadi, flamingos look for their food while hippos cool down in the sweet water pools after their grazing outing at night. In the Lerai Forest elephants with giant tusks pull leaves and branches from the trees while on the plains wildebeests, zebras and antelopes are grazing. Lions often look for the shade, sometimes even the shade of a car.
After making a day in the crater, depending on your departure details or other arrangements that you may have, a driver will transfer you to Kilimanjaro/Arusha Airport for your departure or at the accommodation of your choice in Arusha.
