Day 1

Entebbe to Murchison Falls NP via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Start the day with a hotel pickup in Entebbe and drive north through Luweero and Masindi districts, passing traditional farms and local villages. Stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking with experienced guides, observing endangered white rhinos in their natural habitat. Continue to Masindi for lunch before heading to Murchison Falls National Park. Explore the top of the falls, where the Nile squeezes through a 7-meter gorge and plunges 45 meters. After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive through the park’s northern circuit, spotting lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and antelopes. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic Nile boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls, encountering hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birds.
