Today you will embark on a journey to the remote, beautiful and hilly south western Uganda. This long drive of between 8 to 9 hours is a rich experience to people who love road trips. Most of the road is paved but even for slightly uncomfortable parts, they get more adventurous with the beauty of rolling hill. As you go through the villages and gaze at locals, you will be shocked to learn that you are already at the lodge.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, you will drive to the briefing point in the forest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to get to be enlightened about your adventure with the Mountain Gorillas. You are advised to carry enough drinking water and a lunch box. At a cost of 15 US dollars, you can get a potter to carry your bag and give you a hand in slippery or steep parts of the forest. After the briefing, you are distributed into groups of eight and led by a park ranger into the forest where you will spend one hour with the gentle giants. A rain gear is important considering that Bwindi is a tropical rainforest. Thereafter you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 3

This morning you will drive to Queen Elizabeth the medley of wonders for an early morning game drive. This is the most bio diverse national park and you can spot several mammal species including elephants, buffalo herds, Uganda Kobs, Warthogs and Bushbucks among many others. After the game drive, you will break off for lunch and a boat trip awaits in the afternoon with chances of seeing elephants drinking water, hippos, crocodiles, water birds and more. You can choose to do a game drive after the boat trip in search of animals like elephants, Antelopes, Lions and more! Dinner and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, head for chimp trekking in Kalinzu Central Forest Reserve. You will have a Lunch break in Mbarara and stop at the Equator for shopping before proceeding to Entebbe to embark on your journey back home.
