Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, Community Visit
Today you will be picked from your hotel either in Kisoro or Kabale and embark on a journey to the remote, beautiful and hilly south western Uganda. This short drive from Kabale or Kisoro is between one and a half to two and a half hours is a rich experience to people who love driving through rolling hills. As you go through the villages and gaze at locals, you will be shocked to learn that you are already at the lodge. Once at the lodge, you could opt for a community tour to learn about the local people’s way of life!

Gorilla tracking and drive back to Kabale or Kisoro
After an early breakfast, you will drive to the briefing point in the forest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to get to be enlightened about your adventure with the Mountain Gorillas. You are advised to carry enough drinking water and a lunch box. At a cost of 15 US dollars, you can get a potter to carry your bag and give you a hand in slippery or steep parts of the forest. After the briefing, you are distributed into groups of eight and led by a park ranger into the forest where you will spend one hour with the gentle giants. A rain gear is important considering that Bwindi is a tropical rainforest. After gorilla tracking, you will be transferred to either Kabale or Kisoro depending on your arrangement with your guide.
