Day 3

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

You have a full day of excursions in the Serengeti today, enjoying morning and afternoon game drives. During the legendary migration periods, the Serengeti is home to approximately 1.7 million wildebeest, more than 800,000 zebras, and 200,000 Thomson gazelles. The migration uses the land as a calving ground due to the high calcium and potassium levels in the plains, which are essential for milk production. There will be no shortage of animal sightings as the presence of permanent mud pools and shade attracts giraffes, impalas, warthogs, and hippos. You might also catch a glimpse of cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals before returning to camp for the night. You'll have dinner and an overnight stay at Serengeti Four Seasons.
