Day 1

Kilimanjaro Airport - Moshi

Upon your arrival at the airport, our guide will be waiting for you. After a brief introduction, you will be transferred to Moshi Town. If you have time and energy, our guide can give a short town tour so as to enjoy the beauty of the city.

Nestled at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro, Moshi is the coffee-producing centre of the country. Moshi town is the closest spot to Kilimanjaro National Park and also several waterfalls, natural springs, and tropical forests.

Day 2

Marangu Waterfalls - Karatu

Marangu Waterfalls - Karatu

After a tasty breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up. You will drive up to the entrance gates of Kilimanjaro National Park. After submitting the entrance permit, you will proceed with hiking to Marangu waterfalls, which has a total distance of the hike is 5.5km out and back (return trip). This hike will take about 1.5 hours to the Marangu waterfalls. After an amazing short hike, you will proceed with a cultural tour, which will also include a visit to coffee plantations. In the late afternoon, you will proceed to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Marangu is located at a height of around 1300m (4300ft) above sea level. It is located within a dramatic landscape of high rises and deep valleys, covered by tropical rainforest. About a 40-minute drive from Moshi town, you'll have a very nice view of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Day 3

Lake Manyara National Park – Serengeti National Park

Lake Manyara National Park – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you'll collect lunch boxes and proceed to the entrance gate of Lake Manyara National Park. On this day, you will enjoy the excellent view over Lake Manyara, see elephants up close in the woodlands, and visit the renowned Manyara hippo pool. After hours of game drive, you will drive directly to Serengeti National Park with an en-route game drive.

The park offers a great view of the 400 metres deep Great Rift Valley. This tear in the earth came into existence 22 to 25 million years ago, when movement in a weak area of the earth’s crust led to the formation of a rift thousands of kilometres long through the whole of East Africa. The valley is so enormous that it can be seen from outer space, and it has many unique landscapes that attract a vast number of different animals. Besides being home to Lake Manyara itself, you can also find dense rainforest here with hundreds of groups of monkeys and a huge number of birds.

After breakfast, you'll proceed with a game drive safari in the Serengeti exploring the rolling plains of Serengeti National Park in search of large predators and the gentle herbivorous, on which they feed. In the late afternoon, you will proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and an overnight stay.

After a tasty breakfast, collect picnic lunches, and today you will visit one of the seven African wonders, the Ngorongoro Crater, created when a huge volcano erupted two million years ago. The fertile lava has created a unique ecosystem; the crater has the highest concentration of animals anywhere in Africa.

The Ngorongoro Crater is home to many lion families, buffalo, zebras, wildebeests, and many more species. Nowhere else offers a chance as good as this to spot the rare black rhino.

After a great day in Ngorongoro Crater, your driver-guide will transfer you to Arusha for drop off.
