Day 1

Tarangire National Park

This morning after breakfast starts a 2h30m journey to Tarangire National Park and experience the breathtaking large elephants’ herds across the land of ancient Baobab trees. The journey takes you through the peri-urban areas of Arusha city where you will observe a bit of the Tanzanian lifestyle.
When you get to Tarangire, you will enjoy game drive in the 2nd largest park in Northern Tanzania with a wide variety of animals from predators to herbivores. Your driver will look for a perfect place to sit and enjoy lunch in the middle of this land of baobabs, later continue to different areas of the park thereafter seeking to add more animals to your sighted list.

As the evening draws close, you will drive back to lodge leaving back the Tarangire River, a permanent source of water in the park that attracts thousands of predators and grazers. You will arrive at the lodge in good time for check-in and relax after a long enjoyable day as you get ready for dinner & overnight.

Day 2

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will depart with picnic lunch to Ngorongoro Crater, which was created as a result of the collapse of volcano created the current caldera. The steep walls that surround it rise to a height of about 600 meters. Most of the animal species of East Africa live inside the crater as it is self-sustaining. The crater is a part of the Ngorongoro Conservation area, a UNESCO World heritage site.

It is blessed with abundant and diverse wildlife, beautiful landscapes and is home to the indigenous tribesmen, the Maasai. You will have lunch somewhere in the crater’s designated area, next to a water pond with amazing carpet of grass close to animals and birds.
After as productive day of wildlife viewing, you will ascend the crater and drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Today after breakfast, relax and enjoy an enchanting journey to the awe-inspiring Lake Eyasi, perfectly located on the floor of Eastern Arm of the Great Rift Valley.
You will meet the Datoga & Hadzabe tribes around Lake Eyasi, your guide will narrate the mouthwatering history of these two tribes. You will have an opportunity to learn how their do some of their normal daily activities like hunting, favorite meals, how the build their cave like houses, their dressing style and how they make their traditional attires.
Once done with Lake Eyasi visit, you will drive to Karatu for a hot local lunch a very good opportunity to taste Tanzanian dishes.
A local school visit will follow shortly in this small town of Karatu where you will experience Tanzania’s lifestyle, up close! You will observe the African way of passing the knowledge to the young.
In the late afternoon, you will drive back to Arusha or head straight to Kilimanjaro International Airport to catch flight home.
