Arusha To Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will meet an office representative / your tour guide for a briefing about your safari, then take 2 hours’ drive to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, you will take in the scenic views of the grassland plains speckled with the ancient baobab trees, nomadic people (Masai) in their colourful dress walking on the roadside, riding bicycles, herding cattle and driving donkeys’ carts and traditional Maasai houses.

Tarangire National Park is known for – the famous ancient baobab trees, tree climbing pythons, and the largest concentration of African elephants, lions, leopards, cheetah. After a picnic lunch in midday, you will resume your afternoon game drive and then drive to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

You'll depart from Tarangire after breakfast and begin the drive to the Serengeti National Park. This drive will take you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area so you will be able to view the Ngorongoro Crater on the way. This drive will take around seven hours depending on the game on the way because sometimes there is a high concentration of game on the southern plains. You may have a chance to stop at the Ndutu area depending on the time.

You will stop for a picnic lunch on the way, and then proceeds to the Central Serengeti Park area, known as the Seronera, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife, well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species.

Later in the late afternoon drive to the Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park

Wake up early, so that you can depart for a full day game viewing, moving with the herds across the plains exploring the Great Wildebeest Migration in the northern part toward the Mara River. An impressive experience to see all those hoofed mammals, followed by predators, migrate in a clockwise circle every year. If you would like also to spot the Big Five animals (lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, and buffalo) all in one park, the Serengeti is the place to be.

In the evening, you will drive back to your Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti To Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, you will proceed with packed lunch for early morning game drive between 08:00 - 14:00 hours. After completing a half day game drive along with a picnic lunch, we will branch out and head towards the Ngorongoro crater rim, while enjoying a game drive en-route.

The crater is one of Africa’s impressive geological attraction and supreme mecca of wilderness. The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good rest in your Lodge. Get a good rest and refuel yourself, for the following day you will descend into the massive crater.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha to Airport

After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. In midday, you will have your lunch at the base of the crater. This collapsed volcano is the main feature of the area and creates a unique ecosystem with a wide variety of vegetation. Enjoy the beautiful colours of the landscapes and the diversity of animals. The crater is home to the highest concentration wildlife in Africa and is choked with elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos and even the rare black rhino. This is one of the best places to spot all of the Big Five. The views from the crater rim over the crater floor are incredible. Because of its natural beauty the Ngorongoro Crater is chosen as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders.

In the afternoon we will ascend the crater and drive to Airport for evening flight back home or you may decide to spend this night in Arusha (Optional).
