Upon your arrival you will be welcomed by our safaris guide who will brief you and transfer you to your accommodation in Entebbe/Kampala. Depending on your arrival time you may for an optional Entebbe botanical gardens walk or city work with our guide
Back for dinner and overnight stay as you get ready for following day of upcountry drive.

Day 2

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After your first breakfast in the pearl of Africa your safari guide will brief you about the journey and begin the drive towards the south western park of Uganda, expect a stopover at the Uganda Equator for the welcome photos en route through panoramic view and ranches of long horned cattle. Have lunch and a cup of coffee in Mbarara town, proceed via the rolling misty hills of Bwindi and traditional homestead before reaching to your Lodge.

Gorilla Trekking and Optional Batwa Community Walk

Wake up for an early morning breakfast in your gorilla trekking attire, after drive to the park office for briefing and grouping. You will take the most exciting and memorable experience of trekking the mountain gorillas, the tracking may take 3-6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas and expect to hike in muddy trails when it’s a rainy season before reaching the gorillas, you may be advised to take packed lunch by your safaris guide or coming back for hot lunch. In the evening go for an optional Batwa community walk/community dance depending on the or relax at the lodge.

Have a relax breakfast at the lodge terrace while viewing the nature sounds from the forest, check out with packed lunch and drive through green hills and tea plantations before reaching Ishasha sector for game drive in search for tree climbing lions in the famous fig trees, antelopes like Uganda kobs, Topis and common warthogs. Go for savannah picnic lunch at the Ishasha river, enjoy your lunch while viewing a hundreds of hippos in the river cooling off, en route and check in at your accommodation.

Wakeup early in the morning for breakfast and start an amazing safari before the sunrise for chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura gorge/Kalinzu forests
Drive back to the lodge for full breakfast and relax or swim, after drive to the Mweya peninsular through channel track to experience the herd of elephants before your lunch at Mweya safari lodge, go for boat cruise a long kazinga channel where you experience elephants, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles and water birds at the shores which gives an opportunity of close photos then drive back at the lodge or go for an optional sundowner safari with Ugandan beer, soda and salty snacks, later drive back to the lodge.

After a relaxed breakfast check out and drive to Kampala-Entebbe through the foot hills of Mt Rwenzori via Fort portal town and green hills of western Uganda. Expect to stop for lunch on the way enroute to the airport, you may have a refreshing room depending on the departure time
