Welcome to Madagascar! After all the immigration formalities and money exchanging, your English-speaking tour guide will welcome you. You will then be transferred to your hotel, which is located near the airport. The rest of the day will be at your leisure.

Day 2

Antananarivo – Diego

Antananarivo – Diego

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Antananarivo airport en route to the northern part of Madagascar. Here the Antakarana people will welcome you with their beautiful smiles. After landing, you will go on a tour of the city. After the visit, the rest of the day will be spent at your leisure.

Day 3

Diego – Ankarana

In the morning the road will lead you between luxurious landscapes and sandy tracks to the red Tsingy, which means "pointed rock." Here you will arrive on what feels like another planet. The multitude of chimneys and ephemeral formations shaped by the whims of the wind and rain offer a palette of colors ranging from yellow to red ocher. Later you will make your way towards Ankarana, which will be your final destination of the day.

Day 4

Ankarana National Park

After breakfast, you will embark on a new adventure to explore the renowned Ankarana National Park. The dense forest of trees you will find here have deciduous leaves, many of which bloom from September to November. You will also find baobab trees on the Tsingy trail and the Lost Rivers trail. Today’s hike will take you to the Bat Cave. It is an easy trail but features some steep slopes. You will see lemurs and black parrots in addition to bats.

Day 5

Ankarana – Ankify

Today you will leave for Ankify. A stop at the Millot plantation will be on the program, where you can discover the secrets of the greatest cocoa preparations and where you will have the chance to see the birth and transformation of the most beautiful fragrances (ylang, vetiver, patchouli, and palma rosa). Later in the day you’ll reach Ankify.

Day 6

Ankify – Nosy Be

Ankify – Nosy Be

Today you’ll leave your hotel and make your way to the port. From there, you will transfer toNosy Komba by speedboat. Nosy Komba is the second largest island after Nosy Be. Upon arrival, you will visit the artisanal fisherman village with its traditional pirogues and market of embroidery and wood crafts. You’ll then visit the mini park to see boa constrictors, chameleons, and land tortoises. This is the best play to see the Macaco lemur. It will easily come to rest on your shoulder and let itself be caressed. Later you’ll make your way to the protected natural underwater reserve in Nosy Tanikely.

This beautiful aquatic hike features a magnificent spectacle of corals and anemones, myriads of multicolored fish, crustaceans, groupers, morays, and sea turtles. You’ll then walk to the lighthouse to discover the dogfish and lemurs perched in the trees. You’ll eat a picnic lunch here and then return to the hotel in the afternoon.
