Arrival At The Airport And Drive To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Join us on an unforgettable safari adventure in Uganda! We'll pick you up from either a guest house or a lodge in Entebbe or Kampala a day before your arrival or Entebbe International Airport if you arrive early in the morning. From there, we'll embark on an 8-9 hour drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in South Western Uganda, where you'll spend two nights. The drive is scenic, taking you through local communities, towns, and beautiful hills of the Kigezi region. Along the way, you'll have a chance to cross the equator and stop for photography and a unique equator experience. We'll also stop in Mbarara for lunch before continuing to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for an overnight stay.

First Gorilla Tracking Experience

After having breakfast in the early morning, you will drive to the Park headquarters for registration and then join others for a briefing about the dos and don’ts during your Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour. Once the briefing is done, you will trek through the tropical rainforest of Bwindi with your ranger guides to find the gorillas. This can take anywhere from half an hour to three-quarters of the day.

While trekking, you will have the chance to encounter other wildlife, including various bird species and tree species. Your guide will provide you with information to make the trek enjoyable. It is an extraordinary feeling to be with these beautiful endangered creatures. Upon completion of the trek, you will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking and contributing to the conservation of mountain gorillas.

Second Gorilla Tracking Experience

After having an early morning breakfast, you will proceed to the Park headquarters for registration and join other participants for a briefing about the dos and don'ts during your Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour. Once the briefing is done, you will trek through the tropical rainforest of Bwindi with your ranger guides to find the Gorillas. The trek can take anywhere from half an hour to three-quarters of the day.

Drive Back To Entebbe

After having breakfast, you will be driven to either Kampala or Entebbe for your post-tour accommodation. Alternatively, you may choose to fly out of Uganda today. You will follow the same route as the Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour that you took to get here.

This marks the end of your tour.
