Day 3
Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
On this day, as early as 06:30, start with breakfast and lunch boxes for an early-morning game drive across the vast Serengeti plains, with the possibility of spotting cat families on the road, as they usually spend the mornings there, avoiding the morning mist. You may also see other nocturnal predators returning from their long night of hunting, or a pride of lionesses organizing a morning ambush.
Break for breakfast in the bush, then drive to where the wildebeest migration is packed and spend some time with the herds. This will depend on the travel dates and whether they will be at Central Serengeti. However, with or without the migration of herds, the Serengeti is still the best place to visit. Later in the afternoon, start your way to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with an en-route game drive, arriving at Kankari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
As early as 06:30, depart for the crater tour and descend 600 meters into the crater floor for excellent game viewing.
Ngorongoro Crater is referred to by many as the 8th Natural Wonder of the World. Supported by yearly water supply and fodder, the crater supports a larger number of animal species, which include herds of wildebeest, buffalo, zebra, eland, topi, warthog, hippo, African elephant and the rare black rhino.
You will visit Lake Magadi, a larger but shallow alkaline lake in the southwest corner of the crater, which frequently hosts hippos, flocks of flamingos, and other aquatic birds. With a bit of luck, the "Big Five" can be seen in just one day of game drives in the Ngorongoro Crater. A picnic lunch will be served on the crater floor.
Late afternoon, drive back to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your preferred place, whether it is at the hotel or at the airport.
