Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at your lodge in Arusha, depart for Tarangire National Park for game drive. The driving is along beautiful Masai steppe & many villages. Tarangire is one of the best National Parks in Northern Tanzania which runs along the lines of Tarangire River and it contains low lying hills appearing on the floor of Great Rift Valley. The vegetation of the park is mainly acacia woodland and huge African Baobab trees with a swamp area on the South.
Tarangire River and the swamps attracts a large number of wild animal as it is the only permanent water sources in the entire park. Tarangire National Park is famous for its large elephant population found nowhere else in Africa. You may expect to spot giraffe, buffalo, zebra, impala, wildebeest, warthog, baboons & lots of monkeys.

Tarangire - Lake Manyara

After breakfast we will take you to Lake Manyara National Park, the ever-green park nestling at the base of the Great East African Rift Valley with overlapping habitats which supports a large number of animal species including the famous Lake Manyara tree climbing lions, giraffe, elephant, zebra, buffalo, leopard, hyena and many more.

After breakfast depart with packed lunch and descend into the crater for an in-depth exploration of this distinctive eco-system. Enjoy abundant wildlife viewing set against the impressive backdrop of the Ngorongoro Crater, the heart of the conservation area. This game drive offers one of Africa’s best chances to spot the elusive black rhino, which often roams the crater floor. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world’s greatest natural spectacles, Its rich wildlife includes the Big Five and a dense population of predators such as lions, hyenas, and jackals. With some luck, you may also glimpse rare small cats like the caracal, serval, and African wildcat, which require keen eyes to spot.
