Day 1

Upon arrival at the airport, you are met by your private transfer guide.
After the meet and greet early in the morning, you are on your way at around 09h00 to the picturesque Waterberg Mountains and Waterberg Biosphere Reserve situated in Limpopo Province.
Today the drive will be about 3 to 4 hours (depending on the road and weather conditions)
Upon arrival at your accommodation for the night, lunch will be ready after which you have some time to check in at the lodge. This afternoon we have an open safari vehicle gamedrive within this Private Big 5 Game Reserve. During the game drive we will be able to spot some of the numerous species that could be found in this beautiful wildlife reserve.
Remember your time here is spent in Big 5 territory so chances of seeing these incredible animals are very good.
After a sundowner drink (own expense) somewhere at a nice location in the bush we make our way back to the lodge for
our evening dinner prepared by the inhouse chef.

Day 2

Awaking early to the sounds of the bush, we have a quick cup of coffee or tea with some traditional South African rusks, after which we head out on our early morning safari.
Waking up early means that we get the chance to see the animals while they are still active or busy
hunting, before they go to rest during the heat of the day. After an extensive morning drive we return back to the lodge to enjoy a delicious well catered breakfast.
We then have some time to relax around the pool and enjoy the scenery.
Lunch today (if required is own expense)
After lunch there will be some time for a siesta
In the late afternoon when it starts to cool down again, we will head out on our afternoon
safari and head in a different direction in search of some other animals and species we
haven’t seen yet. Watch out for some predators as you cruise gently through the
bush.
Dinner tonight will be served again upon arrival back from your safari.

Day 3

Our last morning as we head out for the last time on our early morning safari hoping to catch
a glimpse of something special. This morning we will conduct a bush walk in Big 5 territory.
The aim of this walk is not to encounter the big animals but to focus on the smaller things and to learn more about how everything in nature fits together. Please note that the chances of seeing animals on foot is not good as their senses are much better equipped for the bush and so they can hear, smell and see us much easier than we can hear, see or smell them. Having said that there is always a chance to come across animals and big 5 while on a walking safari. Your guide is qualified and trained to deal with this kind of scenarios and you have nothing to worry about, instead you can just enjoy the moment.
Upon arrival back at the lodge we have a relaxing, substantial breakfast after which we will check out and make our way back Johannesburg.
We aim to be back in Jhb around 16h00.
