Naromoru River Lodge - Sirimon Gate
Morning spent sorting and organizing personal equipment for the mountain trek. Lunch at the Lodge (this is an extra charge). In the afternoon we are driven to the Sirimon Gate where we trek to help acclimatization, hopefully you will be lucky to see some game. Night spent at the gate (2,570m.).

Judmaler Camp
This day incorporates a picnic on the Mt. Kenya day hike. This is very interesting and enjoyable day spent in the depths of the forest.
A hike in the Mt Kenya forest is a journey into a world of breathtaking beauty and serenity. Surrounded by towering trees and lush greenery, you will be taken into a dense forest filled with a diverse array of flora and fauna. The scent of the forest mixed with the crisp mountain air is invigorating, making you feel refreshed and rejuvenated. The trail can be challenging, with steep inclines and rocky terrain, but the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape will leave you in awe. As you make your way deeper into the forest, you will come across cascading waterfalls, streams and rivers, and wildlife that call the forest home. The sounds of the forest, such as chirping birds and rustling leaves, will become your symphony.
Night will be spent at road head, at the Judmaier Camp (3,300m.).

Moorland - Sirimon Valley
After breakfast we begin our trek up the moorland and break away from the Sirimon Track at an altitude of 3,940m, contouring into the Sirimon Valley. This is a seldom –visited area which harbours a tremendous amount of wildlife. Overnight in the Sirimon Valley, altitude 3,940m.

Hall Tarns
Hike up to the spectacular Hall Tarns where the beautiful rock formation known as the Temple stands guard over Lake Michaelson 1000 vertical feet below 4, 090m
Hall Tarns is known for its picturesque setting, surrounded by rugged peaks and lush vegetation. The tarn is popular with mountaineers and hikers who come to enjoy the stunning views and peaceful surroundings. The area around the tarn is also home to a variety of wildlife, including buffalo, elephants, and various species of birds, making it a popular destination for nature lovers as well.

Lake Michaelson
Penetrate the defenses of the Temple and descend to the Lake Michaelson and enjoy the scenic wonder of the magnificent area. Truly a trekker’s paradise at 4,300m
The lake is surrounded by lush green forests, rolling hills, and vibrant wildlife, making it an ideal destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.

Point Lenana - Mackinders Camp
An early start to ensure a successful summit bid for main objective Point Lenana (4,985m).
Point Lenana is considered one of the most accessible peaks in the mountain range, making it a popular choice for first-time climbers and seasoned hikers alike. The trail to Point Lenana is well marked and offers a mix of scenic landscapes, including alpine meadows, forests, and rocky ridges. Reaching the summit of Point Lenana is a challenging and rewarding experience, offering panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and glaciers. The summit is also a popular place to take in the sunrise, which is said to be one of the most beautiful sights in Africa.
Descend to Mackinders Camp on the Naro Moru Track.

Mackinders Camp - Naromoru River Lodge
Descend the mountain via the Naromoru Route completing a fine circuit of Mt. Kenya before proceeding to the Naro Moru River Lodge for a well–earned rest.
The journey is a wonderful experience that showcases the natural beauty of Kenya as seen in the rolling hills covered in lush vegetation, dotted with small farms and settlements.
