Drive to Murchison Falls National Park

After a short safari briefing, you will start your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, drive through Kampala Gulu highway to Masindi town where you will have a brief stopover for a hot lunch and stretch your legs. After lunch, you will proceed to the top of the falls where you will how large volumes of water from the Victoria Nile forces its way through an approximately 7 meter wide gorge to plunge 43 meters below into a pool. This powerful water fall creates a thunderous noise with a splashing cloud of fog offering a very breathtaking view worth enjoying. Later proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

AM game viewing drive and PM boat cruise to the bottom of falls

Today you will have an early start, where your guide will transfer you to the northern sector of the park for a 3 hours game drive experience. An early rise can reward us with luck to see large herds of giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, various antelope species, warthogs, hippos, bush bucks plus a variety of bird species among others and on a lucky day will spot lions and leopards. Have our lunch and relaxation at the delta before being driven to the Nile for a 2 hour boat cruise. You will encounter a variety of water and land animals + birds including hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes as they rest on the banks plus notable birds like African fish eagle, Commorants, Geese, Pelicans, Egrets to mention but a few. After this amazing experience, your guide will drive you back to the your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Drive back to Kampala/Entebbe via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After a relaxed breakfast, drive back to Kampala/Entebbe via Ziwa Rhino Santuary, this private non-profit project was established in 2005 to revive the population of the white rhino in Uganda following the intense poaching that happened during the 1990s that totally depleted this species from the Murchison Falls and Kidepo National parks where these animals previously lived. Today there are twenty two 22 southern white rhinos found at this sanctuary. After this breath taking experience, you will have a warm lunch and proceed to Kampala/Entebbe. your guide will drop you at your the airport or a hotel.
