As the evening falls, head to Africa Safari Manyara Escarpment where a safari tent awaits. Cool off with a refreshing swim in the pool before relaxing under the African night sky.

Today is your cultural adventure! You can relax at the lodge pool and join a tour to meet the Hadzabe and Datoga at Lake Eyasi. You can follow the Hadzabe as they demonstrate hunting and foraging in the Eyasi Valley. Your guide will share their stories and insights, giving you a unique, firsthand experience of one of Africa’s last hunter-gatherer communities and their traditional way of life.

Explore the Ndutu area of the southeastern Serengeti, alive with wildlife year-round. Between December and April, wildebeest and zebras gather and in January–February, around 8,000 calves are born daily. Spot lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas hunting, while other grazers protect their young. Birdwatchers can enjoy colourful species, including Fischer’s lovebird. Witness predator-prey dynamics and abundant wildlife in this iconic safari region. Rise early for a thrilling descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact caldera and home to around 30,000 animals, including the Big Five. This natural wonder offers one of Africa’s most unforgettable safari experiences. In the afternoon, continue to the Ndutu/South Serengeti, famed for the calving season of the Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeest are born and predators lurk nearby. Overnight at Africa Safari Karatu.

Day 6
Transfer to Arusha
Transfer to Arusha
All good things end! Enjoy your last meal at Africa Safari Karatu prior to checking out, ready for your journey to Arusha. After meeting your driver-guide at the reception, you will head off on an easy two-hour drive back to where it all started, drop off is in Arusha or Arusha airport, an additional transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport can be arranged for an extra cost.
