1-Day Safari to Akagera N P - the Whispers of the Wild

• You'll be collected from the airport.

Embark on an early morning adventure to Akagera N P. Your English-speaking guide will collect you from your Kigali hotel at 5:00 AM for a scenic journey. Enjoy the views of Rwanda's diverse landscapes, including farmlands, markets, and local communities, en route to the park.

Upon arrival at the Akagera headquarters around 7:30 AM, you will complete registration before beginning your game drive. Explore the savanna grasslands for opportunities to spot the African Big Five: lions, buffalo, leopards, and rhinos.

In the afternoon, at 2:00 PM, experience a peaceful boat cruise on Lake Ihema. This lake is known for its abundant wildlife, offering chances to observe hippos, Nile crocodiles, and numerous bird species such as the rare shoebill stork and African fish eagles.

Following the cruise, continue your exploration of Akagera's varied terrain, which includes acacia woodlands, open grasslands, and wetlands.

At 5:00 PM, you will depart from the park for your return journey to Kigali.
