Pick up from Kigali & Transfer to Bwindi

We will pick you up from the airport or your hotel in Kigali, enjoy a brief city tour to the Genocide Museum and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park crossing into Uganda through Katuna boarder. Pass by Lake Bunyonyi for sightseeing and proceed to Bwindi arriving later in the afternoon / early evening.

Gorilla trekking excursion in Bwindi impenetrable Forest and Transfer back to Kigali

You will head out to the park headquarters for briefing, allocation the gorilla family to trek as well as getting a porter especially for those who face difficulty walking longer distances. Each Gorilla family is allocated a group of 8 individuals and accompanied by one guide as well as two armed rangers to protect to keep you safe as you walk through the forest.
You will then head out to the misty forest of Bwindi for gorilla trekking, a journey that goes for 2 – 8 hours of walking through bushes and thickets. With the help of the ranger guide, you will find the mountain gorillas and it’s at this moment the you will be allowed to stay around them for one full hour as you watch them play, feed and Groom each other. You will later return to your starting point to pick your certificate as proof that you trekked the mountain gorillas of Uganda.
Right after Your Gorilla Trek, Meet your guide and transfer back to Kigali. Drop off at your hotel or the airport for your onward flight.
