In the park, you'll encounter colossal termite mounds and ancient baobab trees. The park is renowned for its diverse avian species and a substantial elephant population. Additionally, you can expect to spot an array of tenacious lions, giraffes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetahs, mongoose, buffaloes, and playful baboons.

Once you've taken in the wildlife of Tarangire, you'll proceed to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

On this day, you will have an early start. After your breakfast, you will drive to Ngorongoro to make an early descent to the crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a massive floor of about 260sq km with a depth of over 2000 feet.

The 5-hour game drive on the crater floor will show you a lot of animal action. Keeping the camera ready is definitely recommended. The African elephant, buffalo, black rhino, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions are found in plenty. Post the picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, you will begin a steep ascend to the top exit of the crater.

You will be dropped off at your accommodation and overnight in the evening.

Today, you'll drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of game drives. This is one of Tanzania’s smaller parks but still offers a rewarding and diverse safari experience. The lakeshore at the Lake teems with birdlife, and while you are looking for the birds, you might spot one of the elusive tree-climbing lions. There are a surprising number of other large mammals and the striking cliffs on the Rift escarpment form a dramatic backdrop. In the late afternoon, you'll make a short journey from the park to your permanent tented camp.
