Our driver will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel and transport you to Wilson Airport, where you will board a Governors’ Aviation trip to Mugie Conservancy, located in Kenya’s Laikipia highlands. A 20-minute ride will take you to Governors’ Mugie House, where a sumptuous meal will be waiting for you. You can either go on your first afternoon game drive and explore this magnificent wilderness teeming with wildlife, lounge by the pool, or take a siesta, depending on your mood. Traditional game drives, bush walks, bush lunches, and fishing on the Mugie Dam are just a few of the activities available at Mugie Conservancy to appreciate the natural terrain and rich wildlife. The Conservancy also runs a low-impact cow ranch and serves as a catalyst for local conservation efforts. Take a glimpse behind the scenes at conservation efforts, including the Anti-Poaching Unit and its crew of bloodhound sniffer dogs. Join one of the team members on a hunt for the Big Cats and learn about the work being done to reduce human-wildlife conflict. If you’re lucky, you might meet Tala, the amiable resident Reticulated Giraffe who roams the conservancy freely. End each day with a stunning sundowner from one of the conservancy’s many viewing points. Overnight at Governors' Mugie House. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

After breakfast, fly directly from Mugie Conservancy to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, Met on arrival in Masai Mara and be transferred in Camp’s shared vehicle to your Camp. Full days Morning & afternoon game drives in this spectacular game reserve all with superb photographic opportunities. Optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$500. Apart from the seasonal migration, game viewing is excellent year round. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. Follow the Mara River to see crocodiles basking in the sun, hippos as they wallow in muddy water and monkeys busy sparking mischief overhead. Here, too, you may sight any of more than 400 species of birds, among them eagles who glide effortlessly above the sunsoaked landscape. Game includes: - elephant, Black Rhino, buffalo, wildebeest, Burchell’s zebra, hartebeest, various antelope and gazelle, lion, leopard, giraffe, cheetah, hippo, crocodile and much more. You'll have early morning game drives and later return for breakfast at the lodge. Check-out and then proceed to the
