Arrival and transfer from Airport to Arusha

A safari representative will meet you upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport. You will then be transferred to your accommodation for an overnight stay.

If you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, the drive to the hotel in Arusha will take about 45 minutes, covering a distance of around 50km (31mi).

Arusha to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will meet an office representative/ tour guide for a briefing about your safari. Then, you will depart on a 6-hour drive to Serengeti National Park. Along the way, you will take in scenic views of the grassland plains speckled with ancient baobab trees, nomadic people (Masai) in their colorful dresses walking on the roadside, riding bicycles, herding cattle, and driving donkey carts, and traditional Masai houses.

We will stop for a delightful picnic lunch, ensuring you are well-fed and energized for the rest of the day. Afterward, we will proceed to the central park area, known as the Seronera Area. This is one of the most abundant wildlife habitats in the park, thanks to the Seronera River, which serves as a vital water source. The river attracts a diverse range of wildlife, giving you a chance to see a variety of Serengeti's species. In the late afternoon, we will drive to our campsite, for a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for game viewing around Central Serengeti. You will stop for lunch around 1:00pm, and after lunch, you will continue with an afternoon game drive.

You will drive to your campsite in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, you will proceed with a packed lunch for an early morning game drive around Central Serengeti between 8:00am and 2:00pm. This is the best place for you to spot the Big Five (lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, and buffalo)!

After completing a half-day game drive and enjoying a picnic lunch, we will branch out and head towards the Ngorongoro Crater rim, enjoying a game drive en route.

The crater is one of Africa’s impressive geological attractions and the supreme mecca of wilderness. The eventful day comes to an end with a hearty dinner and a good rest at the campsite. Rest well and refuel yourself as we descend into the massive crater the following day.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600m (164ft) to the crater floor. At midday, you will have your lunch at the crater's base. This collapsed volcano is the area's main feature and creates a unique ecosystem with a wide variety of vegetation. Enjoy the beautiful colors of the landscapes and the diversity of animals. The crater is home to the highest concentration of wildlife in Africa and is home to elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, and even the rare black rhino. The crater is also one of the best places to spot all members of the Big Five. The views from the crater rim over the crater floor are incredible! Because of its natural beauty, the Ngorongoro Crater has been chosen as one of Africa's Seven Natural Wonders.

In the afternoon, we will ascend the crater and drive to Arusha town for dinner and an overnight stay.

Transfer from Arusha to the Airport and Fly to Zanzibar

After breakfast and pick-up from the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for a morning flight to Zanzibar. Our representative at Zanzibar International Airport will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Stone Town for check-in.

Get ready for an enriching Stone Town city tour. You will have the opportunity to visit the vibrant fruit market, the majestic cathedral, the historic slave markets, the grand sultans' palace, Tippu Tip's house, the Old Arabic Fort, Freddie Mercury's house, Forodhani Park, and the famous Zanzibar doors in the charming petite streets.

In the afternoon, you will walk back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Zanzibar Excursions, Spice Tour and Prison Island Tour

After breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel and driven to Kidichi for the spice tour. On this tour, you will see, feel, and taste tropical fruits and spices. You will then enjoy your spicy lunch at around 12:00pm.

At around 1:00pm, we will board a dhow and sail towards Prison Island. There, you will see a prison built for rebellious enslaved people and giant Aldabra tortoises.

In the late afternoon, we set sail back to Stone Town, and you will be transferred to the Eastern Coast of Zanzibar for an overnight stay.
