Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, proceed through security, where officials will verify your documents. At the exit, a Kojuu Safaris driver-guide holding a sign with your name will greet you, assist with your luggage, and transfer you to Arusha. At the hotel, the driver-guide will help with check-in, and the porter will deliver your luggage to your room. After freshening up, enjoy dinner at the restaurant, then relax, take photos, and retire to your room.

Day 2
Game Drive in Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will drive 120 km (about 2 hours) to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. As Tanzania’s sixth-largest park, Tarangire may be smaller in size but offers an abundance of wildlife and a rich safari experience. Renowned for year-round birdwatching, the park is perfect for explorers. Traverse the savannah, spot animals, and learn about the smaller creatures. In the late afternoon, drive to your lodge in Karatu for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, you will be picked up by a Kojuu Safaris driver-guide and chef for a drive to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with game viewing along the way. The Serengeti spans nearly 15,000 km² of endless plains, home to the nomadic Maasai and a remarkable variety of wildlife. It hosts the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, African buffalo, and black rhino—and is famed for the annual wildebeest and zebra migration. After game viewing, drive to your lodge inside the park for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up for a game drive en route to Northern Serengeti National Park. Along the way, watch for giraffes, zebras, lions, cheetahs, and other wildlife. Arriving in the afternoon, enjoy lunch before heading to the Mara River to witness the spectacular wildebeest river crossing, one of nature’s most impressive events—reminiscent of scenes from The Lion King. In the evening, return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will depart for a full-day game drive in Northern Serengeti. If you missed the perfect river crossing earlier, we will return to the Mara River to maximize your chances of witnessing this spectacular event. The day focuses on the Great Migration, spending ample time observing wildlife along the river. In the late afternoon, return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and a restful overnight stay.

Before leaving the northern Serengeti, you will spend the morning at the Mara River, with your driver-guide on the lookout for giraffes, impalas, hartebeest, waterbuck, and a variety of birds. In the afternoon, return to the central Serengeti, arriving later in the day. Upon arrival, check in and freshen up before enjoying dinner in the main area, taking in the spectacular evening scenery.

After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up for one final game drive through the park, keeping an eye out for bush elephants, Cape buffalo, and birds such as the kori bustard and Fischer’s lovebird. Later in the day, you will head to your accommodation in Karatu for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Spot leopards, lions, black rhinos, hyenas, zebras, waterbuck, baboons, and more. After ascending from the crater floor, drive to your Arusha accommodation for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
