Day 1

Our driver will pick you up from your Hotel in Arusha, with a picnic lunch en route to a full-day Tarangire National Park tour.

One of the lesser-visited national parks of the atmosphere, expect to see majestic herds of elephants roaming amidst the iconic Baobab trees. Home to the highest concentration of wild elephants in the world, the Tarangire offers unbeatable elephant sightings. Sometimes herds of up to 300 elephants can be seen around the Tarangire River, drinking from the shallows or enjoying a cooling mud bath. Apart from elephants, Tarangire is a paradise for bird lovers. In the area around these swamps, you can also see lions, leopards, cheetahs, and even tree-climbing pythons.

After a full day game drive, in the evening, back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Today after breakfast we will be heading to Ngorongoro Crater often referred to as the wonder of the world. This is the World's largest caldera full of grassland, forest, and swamp, a setting of jaw-dropping beauty.

The permanent water of the crater floor supports a resident population of more than 30,000 large mammals. Here you will find many of the reasons you chose to do Safaris in Tanzania. Lions, Waterbuck, Hippo Baboons, Black Rhino, leopards, Hyena, Jackal, Buffalo, Warthog, Gazelle, and many more are sheltered here.

You will do a 5-hour game drive break for a picnic lunch ascend from the crater and drive to Serengeti while experiencing en route game drive to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Central Serengeti Game Drive

After enjoying a delicious fresh breakfast at the Camp, as the sun rises depart with your picnic lunch for a game drive to your next Tanzania destination the Central Serengeti National Park for a full-day game drive.

The park is well known for its healthy stock of other resident wildlife including wildebeest great Migration, particularly the "big five", named for the five most prized trophies taken by hunters: Lion: the Serengeti is believed to hold the largest population of lions in Africa due to part to the abundance of prey species. More than 3,000 lions live in this ecosystem. African Leopard: these reclusive predators are commonly seen in the Seronera region but are present throughout the national park with a population of around 1,000. African Elephant.

We will have a few times to drive from Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay at Sero Tented Camp.

Program of the Day: After breakfast at the Camp, depart with your picnic lunch for a game drive and to view the great migration. Today you continue your safari in the Serengeti National Park. Its stunning landscape can be seen in some of the most impressive nature documentaries. The endless plains and abundance of wildlife are unsurpassed.

The annual wildebeest migration with more than a million wildebeest is probably the highlight of the Serengeti. It is a true spectacle and impressive to watch millions of wildebeest, and zebras, crossing the Mara river. Together with your private guide, you will be looking for the herds across the plains. Apart from the migratory animals, you will also get to see lots of other animals, like lions, cheetahs, leopards, and many more.

After a full-day Migration view game drive you will go back to Sero Tented Camp for Dinner and an overnight stay.

The landscape is different in this part of the Serengeti and is made up of hills, riverine forests, plains, and rocky outcrops. The immense Mara River cuts through this area, providing the setting for the mind-blowing river crossing you may enjoy during your time here. During the river crossing, over two million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebra and antelope attempt to cross the Mara River in search of fresh grazing and water. While they undergo their most remarkable feat during the migration, Nile crocodiles do not make it any easier for them! On the other side, lions, hyenas, leopards, and cheetahs can be found waiting with growling stomachs and high hopes for a delicious meal!

This morning, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Your final destination on this epic safari! Manyara is a small but diverse park 120km west of Arusha. Everything you will see here is on a different scale. It is compact (one of the narrowest parks in Africa) and epic (the Great Rift Escarpment towers over Lake Manyara’s western boundary). The park’s namesake is a shallow salt lake. The lake covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons, and is home to thousands of wading birds (including flamingos and over 500 other bird species). You may see baboons and elephants in the park’s thick evergreen forest and watch for the tree-climbing lions that have become famous throughout Africa.
