After a safari briefing in the morning, you head to the Tarangire National Park. Giant baobab trees, bush savannah and the seasonal marshes add to the wonder of this nature reserve. The park is considered as one of the best places to view elephants up close. The park is also home to buffaloes, zebras and wildebeests which are always closely followed by a range of predators such as lions. Leopards are seen now and then but cheetahs are rarely spotted. From the open roof of the safari jeep, you will be able to absorb the landscape and watch the animals. In the late afternoon you will leave the park and drive to the lodge, where you will overnight.

Lake Natron
Today you will start your day early ready for your walking with local guides you on a walk around the shores of Lake Natron on the lookout for the lesser flamingo. Lake Natron is the most important and regular breeding site for lesser flamingos in East Africa and during the breeding season, Lake Natron hosts up to 2.5 million flamingos. The majority of egg-laying and hatching takes place from September to January although the peak occurs between October & (early) December. Besides the waterfowl, there are other limited bird species due to the lake’s steeply alkaline waters. Around midday, you will depart Natron for Serengeti. The drive can take up to 4 hours and it’s the perfect way to see different shades of Tanzania’s ever-changing landscapes. The arid and dry scenery will slowly be exchanged for the lusher and greener surroundings of the Rift Valley.

Northern Serengeti
Enjoy a full day doing game drives in Northern Serengeti in the Wogatende (Mara River area) to take in the Great Migration experience. If you are lucky, you may witness a Mara river crossing, Northern Serengeti has beautiful rocky out crop where is easy to predators like lions and Leopards, cheetah and elephants etc

Serengeti Central
Enjoy a full day doing game drive to one of the most famous heart of the Serengeti. Here is home to millions of wildebeest during the migration and over the huge flat plains you are likely to find lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena and many other small predators. All afternoon will be spent on game drive before enjoying dinner and the experience of sleeping in the middle of the Serengeti.

Ngorongoro Crater-Arusha
An early morning start in the Serengeti to try and find cats before they retreat from the blazing sun during the day. After a few hours game drive travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Mid-morning you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater – a wonderful haven for wildlife. Ngorongoro is unique in that almost all the wildlife live within the crater walls hence you have the opportunity to find game easily. Rhino, in particular, can be seen regularly as well as prides of lion and other predators. Enjoy lunch by the hippo pond before commencing your drive.
