After breakfast, you will be picked up and proceed to Tarangire National Park. This park, located in the Manyara region, is the sixth-largest national park in Tanzania. This place is characterized by large herds of elephants, tree-climbing lions, and fascinating baobab trees. These trees are also called the "tree of life" for the almost mythical powers that some cultures attach to them. This park is especially well-known for the Tarangire River which flows all year round. It is the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons. Game drives will be done until the evening when you will be driven to Lake Manyara Hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. Serengeti national park

After breakfast, we drive to the north side of Serengeti National Park where you will view the great migration in the Mara area. The key feature is the Mara River and it is not uncommon to see the herds cross the Mara River north on one day and then back south a few days later. Please take note that finding a crossing is very challenging and is sometimes a matter of luck. This area is a stunning region with kopjes, woodland, riverine vegetation and open plains, similar to Kenya's Maasai Mara National Reserve. Dinner and overnight will be at the Serengeti public campsite. ( Nyani Campsite).

Serengeti to ngorongoro highlands

Go on an early-morning game drive in Serengeti National Park for about 1 -2 hours. You then depart from Serengeti National Park with game drives on the way back to Simba Camp in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The conservation area is not a national park, but is managed with both the wild animals and the local Maasai people who graze their cattle alongside the indigenous wildlife. During the drive to Ngorongoro, we have a chance to glimpse something of the Maasai way of life. After stopping at the entrance gate, there is a chance to learn more about this fascinating volcanic landscape. We will then drive around the rim of the crater itself, and from here, we can look down and see the herds of wildebeest or buffalo. Dinner and overnight will be at the Ngorongoro public campsite.
