Nairobi Airport/Hotel - Flair Camp, Masai Mara

Your safari begins with pickup from your Nairobi hotel or the airport and departure in your private 4×4 Land Cruiser. Stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to enjoy the sweeping views and take photographs before continuing through the countryside towards the Masai Mara.

On arrival, check in at Flair Camp and settle in. Relax at camp, or choose an optional (extra cost) Maasai village visit to meet community members and learn about Maasai traditions and daily life. You can also arrange an optional (extra cost) afternoon game drive for your first wildlife encounters in the reserve.

Return to Flair Camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi

After breakfast, check out of Flair Camp and head into the Masai Mara for an extended game drive in your private Land Cruiser. Explore the open grasslands, looking for lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and other wildlife. Your driver-guide will help you spot animals and understand their behaviour, with time to pause at sightings and take photographs.

You can also book an optional sunrise hot-air balloon safari at an additional cost. Afterwards, meet your driver-guide and continue your game drive through the reserve.

Explore until approximately 3:00 pm, then exit the reserve and begin your return journey to Nairobi. Arrive for drop-off at your hotel or the airport in the evening or at night, depending on traffic and road conditions. If you are flying onwards, your departure time must allow for the late return and airport check-in.
