Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

Your Gemfinders Safaris driver-guide will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel or airport in the morning for a safari briefing before departing for the Masai Mara. Travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at a viewpoint before continuing towards Kenya’s most famous wildlife reserve.

Arrive in time for check in and lunch at Jambo Mara Safari Lodge. Spend the afternoon at leisure relaxing at the lodge, or choose from optional activities available at an extra cost:

• Afternoon game drive – US$100 per person (January to June) / US$200 per person (July to December)
• Maasai village visit – US$30 per person

Masai Mara National Reserve

Begin your day with an optional hot air balloon safari at an extra cost, offering breathtaking sunrise views over the Masai Mara. After landing, enjoy a champagne-style bush breakfast in the wilderness before continuing with the day’s safari activities.

Later, set out on a full-day game drive through the vast Masai Mara National Reserve in your custom 4x4 Land Cruiser. Explore different areas of the reserve in search of the Big Five, along with cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, hyenas and abundant plains wildlife.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African savannah before continuing your afternoon game drive.

Return to Jambo Mara Safari Lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve - Lake Nakuru

After an early breakfast, check out from Jambo Mara Safari Lodge and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy a scenic drive across the Great Rift Valley with beautiful landscapes along the way.

Arrive in Nakuru town in time for check in and lunch at Buraha Zenoni Hotel & Resort. After some time to relax, continue to Lake Nakuru National Park for an afternoon game drive.

The park is known for its rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, buffalos, flamingos and diverse birdlife, together with scenic lake views and acacia woodland.

Return to Buraha Zenoni Hotel & Resort in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Lake Nakuru - Hell's Gate - Naivasha

After breakfast, check out from Buraha Zenoni Hotel & Resort and drive to Lake Naivasha, arriving in time to check in at Eseriani Resort.

Later in the morning, depart for Hell’s Gate National Park, famous for its dramatic cliffs, deep gorges and geothermal scenery. Enjoy a guided cycling safari through the park, with opportunities to spot zebras, giraffes, gazelles and other wildlife roaming freely across the open plains. You may also visit scenic viewpoints and the famous Fischer’s Tower while exploring the park.

Return to Eseriani Resort for a late lunch and spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure relaxing by the resort.

Lake Naivasha - Crescent Island - Nairobi

After breakfast, check out from Eseriani Resort and head to Lake Naivasha for a scenic boat ride across the freshwater lake. Enjoy views of hippos and a variety of birdlife as you cruise toward Crescent Island Sanctuary.

On arrival at Crescent Island, enjoy a guided walking safari where you can walk among giraffes, zebras, antelopes and other herbivores in a peaceful natural setting along the lakeshore.

Later, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before beginning your journey back to Nairobi.

Arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or airport, marking the end of your safari.
