Nairobi City to Samburu National Reserve

Pick-up by Gemfinders Safaris driver/guide from the airport or hotel, and after a little introduction, head to Buffalo Springs National Reserve via Nanyuki Isiolo road. Arrive in time for lunch and check in at Samburu Simba Lodge. After lunch, you will be taken for an afternoon game drive for your first encounter with the huge array of wildlife in the park.
Your dinner and overnight stay are at Samburu Simba Lodge.

Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast, you will be taken for an early morning game drive. A lot of wildlife is seen early in the day as they are on a kill or hunt. Many water holes and salt licks with shady areas attract wildlife, and you shall be taken to these spots for the best game viewing. Lunch will be served in the park as a picnic maximizing your exposure to the animals. After the lunch break, you will continue with the game viewing and photographing the enormous array of animals you encounter. The reserve has predators, and watching these animals hunt and catch their prey is a common sight for visitors. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Samburu Simba Lodge.

Samburu National Reserve to Nairobi City

After breakfast, you will be driven back to Nairobi, arriving late afternoon. Depending on your schedule, you can visit the Giraffe Centre in Karen on the return journey, where you will have an opportunity to feed and stroke the giraffes that live here. You will then be driven back to your hotel in Nairobi or the airport to catch your next flight.
We shall then say 'Karibu Tena!' 'Hakuna Matata!'
