Your trip starts from Victoria Falls Airport. We have included a short local flight to Hwange and the road transfer to Nehimba Lodge, set within a private concession in the northern reaches of the park. This remote location is known for its thriving elephant population and predators. After settling in, head out on your first afternoon game drive before a sundowner overlooking the lodge’s waterhole, often visited by wildlife well into the evening.

Over the next two days, explore Hwange’s teak forests and open vleis on morning and afternoon game drives. This area offers exceptional elephant sightings along with buffalo, lion, and plains game. Hwange National Park

Travel to Bomani Lodge, located in Hwange’s southeastern plains. From April to October, you will have the chance to experience the transfer on board the Elephant Express, a railway carriage traveling though the park. When not in operation, you will be transferred by light aircraft.
The landscape opens up here—vast grasslands and seasonal pans attracting zebra, wildebeest, and the predators that follow them. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive, ending with drinks around the campfire and dinner under a starlit sky.

From Safari to the Wonders of Victoria Falls

After an incredible six-night safari adventure in Hwange, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Victoria Falls.
Victoria Falls River Lodge is located on the banks of the Zambezi, away from the town. Settle into your luxurious riverside suite before heading out on a sunset river cruise, watching hippos, crocodiles, and elephants along the shoreline as the sky turns gold and crimson.
Your stay here includes some scheduled activities, you will have the opportunity to chat with the camp manager on arrival and schedule your days, as per your preferences.
Note that the park fees for some activities are not included, you will pay them directly on confirmation of your choices. You can choose to relax and unwind or to seek out varied adventures.
