On arrival at OR Tambo International Airport, look out for a representative from Aero Guest House who will transfer you to the hotel. No activities are planned for today. Please enquire if you are interested in doing any tours in Johannesburg, such as the Soweto or Apartheid Museum tour.

Day 2

Johannesburg to Balule Private Nature Reserve

You will be collected from Aero Guest House in Johannesburg between 8:15 - 9.00 AM for your road transfer to Tremisana Game Lodge, driving through farmlands and the picturesque Lowveld to the Balule Game Reserve.

Have a short break on arrival at the lodge - unwind at the bar, have a swim or relax in the tropical gardens before departing for your first game drive. Your guide will show you various animals and birds, and after darkness falls, use spotlights to locate nocturnal species. Dinner will be an unforgettable Bush braai at the Marula Tree Boma. After dinner, continue the Night Drive and overnight in comfortable air-conditioned en suite thatch-roofed chalets.

Day 3

Balule Game Drive and Transfer to Marc's Treehouse

Balule Game Drive and Transfer to Marc's Treehouse

Awaken at sunrise for a day of unforgettable bush life. Drive to a remote part of the Balule Game Reserve, where you enjoy a 4h Bush Walk. Your experienced field guide will lead you through the bush, where you have the chance to encounter everything from very small to very large. Return to Tremisana for brunch. Lunch will be served in the Lapa at 1:30 PM. At around 2:30 PM we go on an afternoon game drive. Transfer to Marc’s Treehouse Lodge where accommodation is in fascinating and romantic treehouses.

Day 4

Kruger National Park Game Drive

Kruger National Park Game Drive

Travel from Marc's Treehouse to Kruger National Park, where you board an open game-viewing vehicle. The absence of windows and elevated vantage position allows for excellent photographic opportunities. You will have a fantastic chance not only to view the game but also to listen to and smell the African bush and its residents.

There will be regular stops at picnic spots and rest camps. Your experienced ranger will show you many animals and birds that frequent this wildlife paradise. The Orpen-Satara region boasts open plains and supports large herds of zebra, giraffe and antelope that attract numerous predators. In fact, the zones we visit have the highest concentration of lions in Africa.

Balule Private Nature Reserve to Johannesburg

Balule Private Nature Reserve to Johannesburg

Enjoy an early morning bush walk before returning to Johannesburg by road transfer. Along the way, you have the opportunity to view the Three Rondawels and the Blyde River Canyon along the famous Panorama Route. Return to Johannesburg at around 17:00, either to your hotel or to the airport.

We will happily help with any add-ons, such as the Garden Route, Cape Town, Victoria Falls and more.

Note: The scenic transfer will only be done if 2 or more guests are due to return to Johannesburg on this day. If only one guest is returning, it will be a direct transfer from Marc’s Treehouse to OR Tambo Airport in Johannesburg.
