Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park

On this day, one of our drivers will pick you up from your accommodation and drive to Zanzibar Airport. You'll board your flight to Arusha Airport. You will meet one of our driver-guides and have a short briefing about the safari. Then, you'll start driving to Tarangire National Park for full day game drive experience. The Tarangire National Park is located in South west of the Arusha Region and South of Lake Manyara. The river that passes through the park is the one that delivers the Name of the Park Tarangire, which means the River of Warthog in the Bungwe Language. The source of the Tarangire River starts from Kondoa High Lands and ends in Lake Burunge via Tarangire National Park; the altitude of Tarangire National Park is 1,100 meters above sea level. In the afternoon, you will have a picnic lunch, then proceed with a game drive until evening, where you will be driving back to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay.

Arusha to Materuni Waterfalls and Coffee Tour to Zanzibar

After breakfast, you will be driving to Materuni waterfall via Moshi town, which is located under the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. On arrival at the village office, you will do some registrations and payments. Then, you will be starting hiking to the waterfall around 40 minutes to enjoy the vegetation, landscape, and some small animals like a chameleon. At the waterfall, you may take a swim in the cold water and take some photos before descending to Materuni village for a coffee tour to experience the traditions and customs of the Chagga people, the local way of growing coffee, and make a cup of coffee while singing the local songs. You will test their local brew, like banana wine and banana beer. In the afternoon, you will have a hot local lunch before in the late afternoon driving to Kilimanjaro airport to board a flight to Zanzibar Airport, where one of our drivers will pick you up at the airport and drive to your accommodation in Zanzibar.
