Arrival and Afternoon Game Drive

Depart from Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport to Hoedspruit Airport. Upon arrival, we will meet and transfer you to the camp. In the late afternoon, you will head out with your guide and tracker for an afternoon game drive through the game reserve in search of wildlife, including the Big Five. When you return to the lodge, a sumptuous dinner under the stars awaits you.

The 23 000 hectare nature reserve, Manyeleti, is an unspoiled safari island, sharing an unfenced boundary with Kruger National Park, and is home to Honeyguide Khoka Moya Camp. The luxurious tents at the camp offer outdoor decks, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the wide-open channels at the camp. Interiors are Scandinavian and minimalist, with facilities such as a restaurant, a bar, an observation deck, a waterhole, a shop, and a pool. Wildlife moves freely as there is no fencing. Elephants are seen near the tents daily, and the lions are heard roaring at night.

Big Five Safaris and Pristine Bushveld

Your stay in Honeyguide Khoka Moya Camp revolves around exciting safaris and bush exploration daily.

Game drives are conducted twice a day in special 4x4 safari vehicles. The safari guides possess vast knowledge about all that lives and grow in the area and are happy to inform you about it. Morning game drives usually start around 5:30am, taking you deep into the large Manyeleti Private Game Reserve. During the drive, you will stop for a (much-needed) cup of coffee and light refreshments. Return to camp for a delicious breakfast and, after that, time to unwind. You may choose to retire to the privacy of your tent, browse through the small in-house library, or relax at the poolside.

Another game drive starts around 3:30pm and continues to just after dark—this allows you to spot nocturnal animal species, an exciting experience!

After a day in the bush, return to the lodge to enjoy superb cuisine and excellent service.

Depart for OR Tambo International Airport

After one final game drive and a warm, hearty breakfast, you bid farewell to the African bush as you transfer back to the airport in time to catch your flight to Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport. Here, you will connect with your onward travel arrangements.
