Day 1

Upon your arrival at the Arusha Airport (ARK) from Zanzibar around 08:30 am, our best driver guide will meet you, greet you and welcome you by giving a short brief of the day and entire safari. Then your adventure begins and you will both drive to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is well known for its large elephant herds.

From the open roof of the vehicle, you will experience the seasonal swamps, savanna, and Tarangire River in search of many animals including zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, and giraffe. Enjoy a mid-day lunch by the picnic site where small monkeys will try to scare you off your meal.

After a full day in the park, you will drive to the lodge in Karatu Town, where you can relax, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 2

Serengeti National Park

After a wonderful breakfast, head to Ngorongoro as it's a transitway to central Serengeti. You will stop at the crater viewpoint to enjoy the beautiful view and take pictures, then depart towards the most famous national park in the world, the Serengeti. This will be an unforgettable moment for anyone seeing it for the first time.

As you progress well into the Serengeti, you will see why we call it in the local language, “endless plains”. The Serengeti plains will stretch to the horizon defying your senses and perception of distances. It is the home of the great migration and to 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and all kinds of antelopes.

As for big cats and large predators, it’s the place to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas with many television scenes like the famous River Crossings filmed in this park. After the game drive, you will drive to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Today you continue exploring the endless plains of Serengeti National Park. Your game drive will start early in the morning around 6 am, this is the best time to spot the big cats as they are more active during the cooler hours of the day. You will likely stop for a picnic lunch at a designated area inside the park, this will give you a chance to stretch your legs and enjoy a meal while taking in the stunning views of the Serengeti.

In the afternoon, as you leave Serengeti you will pass through the Great Rift Valley and stunning landscapes. The drive from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands is a memorable experience filled with stunning scenery and a chance to see some of Tanzania's diverse wildlife and culture. You will have an en-route game drive to your accommodation, inside Ngorongoro Conservation Area at the rim of Crater for dinner and an overnight stay.
