Today your safari adventure begins with a pickup from your Arusha hotel to enjoy a scenic 2.5-hour drive through stunning landscapes and local villages. Spend the day exploring Tarangire National Park, home to vast elephant herds, towering baobabs and rare tree-climbing pythons. As the evening falls, head to Africa Safari Rift Valley where a safari comfort bungalow awaits. Cool off with a refreshing swim in the pool before relaxing under the African night sky.

Day 2

Today we head to Lake Manyara National Park, a hidden gem celebrated for its dramatic scenery and rich wildlife. Think panoramic views, cascading waterfalls, clear babbling streams and bubbling hot springs. On your full-day game drive, keep your eyes open for tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, and a dazzling variety of birdlife along the lake’s edge. As the day winds down, we’ll continue to Africa Safari Manyara Escarpment, where comfort and relaxation await after your adventure.

Day 3
Maasai Boma Village Tour Mto wa Mbu
Maasai Boma Village Tour Mto wa Mbu
After breakfast, you will visit the traditional home of the Maasai, the Maasai Boma – which consists of a variety of small huts made of mud, sticks, and cow dung. The boma is surrounded by a circular “fence” of thorny bushes to protect the tribe and their cattle from predators. On your visit, you can practice a traditional dance, engage in a conversation about daily life, traditions, and customs, and admire the beautiful beadworks of the Maasai women. The remainder of the day can be spent in relaxation mode. You will take a refreshing swim in the pool, read a book and before you know it, it is time for a meal with fresh vegetables from our garden.

Day 4

After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact caldera and home to around 30,000 large mammals. Within its natural borders, you’ll encounter the Big Five, including the rare black rhino, alongside zebras, wildebeests, elephants, and more. The crater offers one of Africa’s best wildlife-viewing experiences. In the evening, retreat to Africa Safari Karatu, a serene lodge perfectly located to take in the exceptional beauty of the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Day 5
Transfer to Arusha
Transfer to Arusha
All good things end! Enjoy your last meal at Africa Safari Karatu prior to checking out, ready for your journey to Arusha. After meeting your driver-guide at the reception, you will head off on an easy two-hour drive back to where it all started, drop off is in Arusha or Arusha airport, an additional transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport can be arranged for an extra cost.
