Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you will meet your Guide and will take you to your hotel and the rest of the day is at leisure, you can relax and enjoy the African atmosphere. Your personal and experienced Guide not only knows a lot about the Tanzanian culture, but can also tell you a lot about the beautiful national parks and sights of the country. So don’t be afraid to ask your Guide questions – he will be happy to answer them all.
This trip is an exclusive private safari so you can enjoy your trip to the fullest! You can decide for yourself when to leave in the morning and when to return in the evening. You can also observe a specific animal or herd for as long as you like during the safari. You don’t have to be considerate of anyone. Your personal guide will advise you during the safari so that your trip will be an unforgettable experience. Tomorrow morning your safari will begin!

Today you depart after breakfast to Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive. Since this is one of the less known parks in Tanzania, it still has an authentic safari atmosphere. The hilly landscape, with grand Baobab trees against the blue sky, is breathtaking. Witness the world’s largest concentration of elephants. Herds of up to 300 elephants can be seen around the Tarangire River, drinking or enjoying a mud bath. Apart from elephants, Tarangire is a paradise for bird lovers. In the area around these swamps you can also see lions, leopards, cheetahs and even tree-climbing pythons.

After breakfast we will drive to the shores of Lake Eyasi. It’s one hour and half drive to the destination. Lake Eyasi is a very scenic soda lake found on the southern border of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This less visited lake lies at the base of the Eyasi escarpment on the western rift valley wall. This afternoon you will be introduced to the extraordinary people who belong to an indigenous tribe known as the ‘Hadzabe’ (hunter-gatherer Bushmen). The tribe inhabits the shores of Lake Eyasi as do the Nilotic-speaking Datoga tribe. You will visit these tribes, which will include a visit to their homesteads, learn about their way of life, animal tracking, medicinal plants, and much more. Some wildlife and a wide range of bird species can be viewed during walks around the lake, which can be arranged.

This day we will leave after breakfast with a packed lunch box and head towards the Serengeti. After a 4 hour drive we will arrive at the Serengeti. After lunch we'll do a game drive all afternoon in this beautiful park. The Serengeti is known for its endless plains of savannah and forest landscapes. An area of about 30,000 km2 in the north of Tanzania and Kenya, of which 80 % is located in Tanzania. The park is famous for the migration involving about 1.5 million herbivores and followers, thousands of predators are moving because of the drought in the northern hills to the southern plains. The grasslands cover more than one third of the park, where you will find many animals throughout the year. At the end of the afternoon we'll arrive at your camp where you will enjoy the beautiful sunset in Serengeti.

Following breakfast, you will spend the whole day on a game drive in the Serengeti National Park and have lunch at a picnic spot en-route. Depending upon the time of year, you will witness the great migration with hundred thousands of wildebeests, zebras and Thompson gazelles. Your guide will try his outmost to find the animals and will make sure that you can see the animals from the best spot in the national park. Naturally, the migration also attracts predators and with luck you might see a kill in action. You will spend another night at Serengeti Wild Tented Lodge.

You will be collected around 0500 hours. An hour predawn drive through the bush to your launch site is a delight in itself. You may see nocturnal animals in the headlights that you could not have encountered any other way. Near a river like Seronera or Grumeti, you may meet grazing hippo. A Serengeti balloon safari is a fantastic once in a lifetime experience, particularly suitable for a bird’s eye-view game viewing experience. Experience the majestic Serengeti from the sky the original pioneers of the African skies. Watch the dawn break over the savannah. Then you will dropped up for breakfast at your lodge. After great breakfast you will departure for Ngorongoro conservation with en-route game drive and picnic packed lunch. The whole area is managed for both animals and local Maasai people who graze their cattle alongside the indigenous wildlife. Ngorongoro Crater is the largest collapsed volcanic crater in the world and fourteen kilometers of isolated natural beauty.

After breakfast you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a full day. Enjoy the beautiful colors of the landscapes and the diversity of animals. Home to over 120 species of mammal including the fabled Big Five, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of the most sought after safari destinations in the world. It's a particularly good place to see the endangered black rhinoceros enjoying a lonely meal out on the grass plains, as well as a place to see large numbers of hippopotamus enjoying the cool water. From the comfort of your open-top vehicle, you'll be able to observe and photograph some of Africa's most recognizable faces. The crater is home to a large number of predators including lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas, as well as a large population of wildebeest, zebras, antelope, Cape buffalo, and more. It is truly one of Africa's premier safari destinations. After the thrills and excitement of the day, you will have a picnic lunch by the park's famous hippo pool.
