Upon arrival, you will find our company representative at the airport, ready and waiting for you. You will recognize him with the special board with your name written on it. You will be transferred directly to your accommodation in Arusha while he will share details of our beautiful country.

You will check in at your hotel and have time to rest. Later, we will show you around Arusha City, visit local markets, a Masai market, the Cultural Heritage Museum, and the Arusha City Museum.

Day 2

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Depart Arusha after an early breakfast and drive southwest toward Tarangire National Park. Enter the park for a full day game drive through its iconic landscape of ancient baobab trees, open savannah, and the life-giving Tarangire River. This park hosts one of the highest concentrations of elephants in Tanzania, alongside large herds of buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, and an impressive diversity of over 550 bird species. Tarangire is an exceptional opening chapter to any Tanzania safari. Dinner and overnight at your lodge in Karatu.

Depart after breakfast, travelling through the lush Ngorongoro Highlands before descending onto the vast Serengeti plains. Enter the park and proceed directly to your camp in the Seronera Valley, the wildlife heartland of the Serengeti — arriving in time for lunch. The afternoon game drive takes you through some of the most productive wildlife territory in Africa, where resident lion prides, leopards, cheetahs, and enormous herds of wildebeest define the landscape. Return to camp at sunset for dinner and overnight.

An early departure takes you north toward the Mara River — the stage for one of nature's most extraordinary spectacles. Between July and October, hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebra gather on the riverbanks, summoning the courage to cross crocodile-filled waters in a desperate push northward. Your guide will position you at the best vantage points to witness this raw and unforgettable event. Even outside the peak crossing season, the Northern Serengeti delivers exceptional predator sightings, large elephant herds, and a remote wilderness feeling that sets it apart from the rest of the park.

Begin the day with a morning game drive through the Serengeti, making full use of the early hours before exiting the park. The journey back through the Serengeti offers further game viewing opportunities along the way. Exit the park in the afternoon and ascend into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where the temperature drops, the vegetation thickens, and the landscape transforms into cool highland forest. Arrive at your lodge in time for dinner and overnight.

The crater delivers an unmatched concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, hippos, spotted hyenas, thousands of flamingos on the alkaline Lake Magadi, and the critically endangered Black Rhino — one of the rarest and most sought-after sightings in East Africa. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before ascending and transferring back to Arusha, marking the memorable conclusion of your Great Migration safari.
