Day 2

Mukuru Village to Lake Natron

Activity; Early morning. After or early breakfast explore the landscape of Mkuru from different perspective - from the back of camel. Discover the diverse ecosystems of the area in a short drive as you get used to the gentle sway of the camel's footsteps. And then proceed to Lake Natron with packed lunch.
Here at Lake Natron (hike along the lake shore to Engare Sero waterfalls) and early morning the next day you can admire thousands of flamingos at Lake Natron.

Serengeti it is an immense and spectacular plain, a region of about thirty thousand square kilometers, consisting of prairie, savannah and woods. Ngorongoro it is probably the most famous of all the conservation areas of Africa, which is worth visiting at least once in your life. It is the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world, and some scientists believe that before the eruption, it was higher than Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. The deep crater 660 meters, covering an area of 260 sq. Km. It hosts a permanent population of over 30,000 animals, and is a few places in Africa where you have the opportunity to see the "big five" (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant) in one safari.

Ngorongoro to Lake Eyasi

Very early in the morning before sunrise, and follow your guide until he finds the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last true nomadic tribes in Africa. After some explanations about the tribe, you will join them in their daily morning activities. This experience is out of the beaten track and does not feel touristic by any means. The photographic opportunities are out of this world. This tour will definitely be a highlight of your safari. The experiences you do with the tribe can either be joining the men in their daily hunting, or the women in their fruit gathering session. In either of them, you will learn about many aspects of the Hadzabe way of living.

Transfer back to Arusha for your flight.
Arusha is located at the foot of Mount Meru. The climate is relatively cool and dry. The main economic activity of the region is agriculture, with large plantations of plants and flowers from which high quality products are exported to Europe. Micro- agriculture has been hit hard by the coffee crisis and is almost exclusively subsistence farming. In the Arusha area there are also several factories that produce beer, tires. Because of its strategic position among the main parks of Tanzania (Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Manyara, Tarangire and Kilimanjaro), Arusha is an important tourist center. You will see the Mt Kilimanjaro if it is clear and take photos.
