1-Day Gorilla Safari Rwanda

• A transfer from the airport can be arranged for an extra cost.

The day starts with an early departure from your hotel at 4:30am or latest 5am to drive and transfer to the Volcanoes National Park. The guide will stop at one of the hotels/lodges closer to the park for you to have breakfast, before you proceed to the briefing point. As your guide meets the park warden to assign you the gorilla family to track, a group of dancers will be entertaining you in Rwanda's Traditional dances and coffee or tea is available for you to sip on as you enjoy the dance.

You will then be briefed about the whole gorilla tracking process and then head to the starting point with your park rangers. Walking sticks and porters these are available at the starting point. Endeavor to use porters if you can, as this is one of the other ways that we give back to the communities that protect these giant giants.

You will then start the guided walk in search for gorillas. After meeting them take photos and then return to have lunch and then proceed to Kigali.
