Serengeti National Park
Proceed to Serengeti National Park for a game drive with picnic lunches after breakfast. A million wildebeest, each one driven by the same ancient rhythm, fulfill their instinctive function in the unavoidable cycle of life: a frenzied three-week bout of territorial conquests and mating; survival of the fittest as 40km (25 miles) long columns plunge through crocodile-infested waters on the annual exodus north; replenishing the species in a brief population explosion that produces more than 8,000 calves daily before the 1,000 km (600 miles) pilgrim.
At Seronera Public Campsite, we'll have dinner and spend the night.

Serengeti National Park
We'll be in the park all day long today. We set out at dawn and begin our exploration; we'll go on a full-day wildlife drive across Serengeti's breathtaking scenery in quest of the big five. We will then serve lunch at camp before leaving for a drive in the late afternoon.
The Serengeti is home to more than just huge creatures. Rock hyraxes and gaudy agama lizards struggle about the surfaces of the park's remote granite kopjes. As well as more than 500 bird species, including the enormous ostrich and peculiar secretary bird of the open grassland and the black eagles that glide easily over the Lobo Hills, there are 100 different forms of dung beetles that have been identified. We'll keep looking for Serengeti wildlife and return to camp at sunset for dinner and overnight.
