Dar es Salaam – Mikumi NP

Pick up from the hotel after breakfast. You will have comprehensive briefing about your safari then depart to Mikumi which will take 5-6 hours driving from Dar.

A hot lunch will be served in Morogoro town on your way to Mikumi National Park. Upon arrival in the park you can expect a great welcome from herds of elephants, lions, Masai giraffes, and more. You will continue with the game drive until early evening where you head to the camp for dinner and good rest.

Mikumi National Park

After breakfast, you will enjoy a full day exploring the park with packed lunches.

We will spot a variety of wildlife including wild dog, Hartebeest, eland, buffalo, zebra, and wildebeest, and visit the hippo and crocodile pools.
Over 300 species of birds have been observed in this park.

Udzngwa Mountain

We will drive to Udzungwa Mountains National Park for a day of nature hiking to the Sanje Waterfalls.

You will have the opportunity to swim, bird watch, and see various monkey species.
The day also includes a visit to a Maasai tribe only if you will be interested in this activity.

Later you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.

After breakfast check out from the lodge and travel back to Dar arrives in the early evening.

As you drive back to Dar Es Salaam your safari guide can drop you off at the point of your choice in town.
