Day 1

The Tarangire National Park, named for the river that runs through it and satisfies the thirst of a variety of animals like giraffes, waterbucks, wildebeests, zebras, and an abundance of elephants, will be our destination when we set out from Arusha in the morning. Here, over 550 different bird species may be seen. The park has a steep terrain filled with baobab trees and a variety of grasslands. Following a morning game drive, you'll have a picnic lunch with a view of the river and then continue watching animals until it's time to leave the park in the late afternoon.

Day 2

We will head to the Serengeti National Park after breakfast. The Big Five (rhinoceros, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and lion), can be found in the Serengeti National Park. With a total area of nearly 14,000 sq km, it is one of the greatest national parks in the world. A Maasai term that means "endless plains" is where the name Serengeti originates.

The Serengeti is home to an estimated 3 million large animals, including over 2,500 lions, 1.2 million wildebeests, and over 200,000 zebras, despite population fluctuations. You also have the chance to witness giraffes, baboons, colobus monkeys, gazelles, antelopes, crocodiles, hippos, waterbuck, hartebeests, and other animals. More than 500 bird species including ostriches, vultures, martial eagles, kori bustards, crowned cranes, and secretary birds, call this huge and diverse park home.

You will enjoy a picnic or a camp-out lunch. Anytime is a great time to visit the Serengeti!

After breakfast, you will have a wildlife drive to the main Serengeti gate where you will stop for a picnic lunch. You will travel through a variety of microclimates and sceneries en route to the Ngorongoro Crater, including wide plains, sweeping hills, and deep woods. You will arrive at your lodging in the early evening.

Day 4

After breakfast, you will go to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa's safari highlights, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the Maasai language, the name Ngorongoro means "gift of life."

Before entering the crater itself, you will enjoy the breathtaking views from the crater rim. From here, you can observe elephants, lions, buffalos, zebras, and many other types of animals and birds. You will enjoy a picnic meal while admiring the hippo pool.

The Ngorongoro Crater is stunning at any time of the year as it always teems with wildlife. This trip will be a fascinating experience. Depending on the weather, you will either see the crater bowl clearly or you will see the mist descending into the base.

Early in the evening, you'll return to Arusha city for drop-off at your optional accommodation.
