Day 1

When you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our safari representative and driven for approximately 1 hour to Kibo Palace Hotel in Arusha. Along the route, depending on the time you arrive, you could see some of the residents going about their daily routines. If you spot something fascinating, feel free to ask your guide to stop the vehicle for learning and discovery. You will check into the lodge at an appropriate time to relax, take a shower, and have dinner. You will enjoy your overnight stay and prepare for the great wildebeest migration program, which begins the following day.

Day 2

Lake Manyara National Park

Your safari itinerary begins with breakfast at your hotel. Your safari guide from Ozon Light Tours will meet you for a briefing before driving you to Lake Manyara National Park, which will take approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Along the route, you will witness some of the local villages and people going about their daily lives. If you spot something captivating, inform your driver to stop the vehicle, an opportunity for learning and discovery.
You will stop for lunch in Mto wa Mbu, a fast-growing community located near the park. After lunch, you will drive to Lake Manyara for an afternoon game drive. You will make your way around the shoreline of the lake, admiring flocks of pink flamingos and other migrating birds. If you're lucky, Lake Manyara will reward you with a sighting of tree-climbing lions hanging on tree branches.
After a wonderful day of game viewing, you will be driven to Karatu's country lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Drive to Ndutu

Drive to Ndutu

Today is a lucky day since you will be driving to the Serengeti's southern plains to witness the calving grounds.
Today's itinerary begins with a great breakfast and then a drive to Ndutu in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. When marveling at the Ngorongoro highland, you will have the chance for an en-route game drive, during which your experienced guide will offer his knowledge about the area, including its history, plants, and fauna.
After a long journey, you will stop at the Camp in Ndutu for a hot lunch and a few minutes of rest. You will go on an afternoon wildlife drive to see millions of ungulates such as wildebeest, zebra, impala, and gazelle munching the lush grasses of the Serengeti's vast plains.
You will return to the camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Ndutu Area (Calving Grounds)

Today you have more time to make the most of your safari experience.
After breakfast, you will depart for a full-day wildlife drive in Ndutu, allowing you to make the most of your safari adventures. You will drive into Ndutu caving ground, where you can see thousands of ungulates and a lot of action. Seeing how wildebeest give birth is a game of chance, and today might be your fortunate day. With so many ungulates in the area, predators like leopards, hyenas, and lions will always be nearby seeking prey. If you're lucky, big predators are common here. Predators are more likely to attack old and sick wildebeest.
You'll have a picnic lunch in the afternoon, followed by a bit of relaxation. You will go on an afternoon game drive, which will allow you to see other sights. Ndutu and Masek Lakes supply enough water to feed the herds, and you will get the opportunity to visit them if time allows.
After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater

Today, have an early breakfast before departing for Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive with a picnic lunch. Your safari to Ngorongoro Crater will be worthwhile, as will be an opportunity to see more animals, particularly the Big Five. The crater scenery is stunning, and you are likely to encounter the globally endangered and rare remaining black rhinos. Seeing all five of the Big Five in a few hours is quite common here, and with a little luck, this might be a fantastic day for you.
You'll have lunch at one of the beautiful picnic spots afterward relaxing for a few minutes. You will go on an afternoon game drive, which will allow you to see other sights. You will be driven to Lake Magadi, one of the primary highlights of the crater, where you will have the opportunity to witness flocks of flamingos and other migrating species.
After a fantastic day of amazing experiences, you will go to Karatu Country Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
