After having an early breakfast, you will depart from Karatu by 7:30 a.m. heading to Serengeti National Park.

Day 3

The majestic Serengeti, known for its amazing grandeur and the site of the Great Wildebeest Migration, is worth a visit. You will spend the entire day exploring it. Massive herds of plains game, including wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes, rule the park, lions and cheetahs can be seen in one of the many kopjes that dot the plain.

The park's landscape is varied, with wide-open grass plains in the south, savannas with a few acacia trees here and there in the middle, and mountainous, forested grasslands in the north. There are vast wooded areas and plains made of black clay to the west.
