Please notify us in time if you need extra accommodation in Entebbe before the start of the trip. You have the chance to tour around Entebbe city at your request if your arrival is during day time.
Upon arrival, We start our journey to Murchison Falls National Park, making a stopover at the Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary to trek for Rhinos. These are very endangered species and they are found only here in Uganda. After trekking, we continue our way to Murchison Falls National Park, visiting the top of the falls, feeling the mist of the water on our skin, and enjoying the views of the falls. The fun here is that there is a chance of getting wet from the powerful water falls. We then check into our lodge and await our next day’s adventure.

Game Drive, Boat Cruise
After our breakfast, we head out for an early morning game drive to come into close proximity with the wild! Be on the look for African buffalos, antelopes, hippos, elephants, lions and various birds. After a thorough game viewing, we shall go have lunch as we wait for a late afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. During our cruise, you will come face to face with some reptiles, elephants and many birds. We return to the lodge for an evening and overnight.

Transfer to Kibale National Park, via Fort Portal
After our breakfast in Murchison, we head west to Kibale National Park via Fort Portal, a town resting on the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountain. We encounter beautiful views and enjoy a mini tour in this charming town. From Fort Portal, we set a course for the thriving forest of Kibale National Park, where we turn in for the night at our booked safari lodge.

Chimpanzee Tracking- Kibale Forest National Park
This marvelous Kibale Forest holds the widest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa. On a guided nature walk, we encounter wild chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys, black-and white colobus monkeys and more. We return to our lodge for lunch and later set out to Bigodi Swamp, an ideal place for bird lovers. After a satisfying day of exploration, we return to our lodge in time for dinner.

Crater Lakes Tour, Enroute Queen Elizabeth National Park
We check out of our lodge and head out for a brief tour at some crater lakes where we will see magnificent views of the vibrant crater lakes, cradled in vegetation and gentle hills. After lunch, we head toward the popular Queen Elizabeth National Park just in time for an evening game drive. We hope to see warthogs, buffalo, waterbucks and elephants before checking in for a night.

Queen Elizabeth National Park; Game Drive, Boat Cruise
Our morning starts with a game drive. This is a great opportunity for wildlife sightings as animals tend to be more active in the wee hours. Be on the look for bushbucks, elephants, lions, hippos, buffalos and many more. After a thorough game drive we head out on an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. Hippos, crocodiles, and other mammals, reptiles, and birds congregate at the shores in the afternoon heat. After our boat cruise, we return to our lodge for dinner and a night over.

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park via Ishasha
We depart from Queen Elizabeth, taking a chance to set eyes on the tree climbing lions of Ishasha. We cross stunning landscapes to reach Bwindi National Park, where we will seek out another rare creature, the Mountain Gorilla, a very endangered specie that should be on your bucket list to see.

Gorilla Trekking - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, we set out for a briefing at the park offices where we are allocated gorilla tracking groups and given tips in preparation for a close encounter with the gorillas. Guided by an experienced tracker, we brave a challenging trek through Bwindi Impenetrable Forest; it may take minutes or hours of pushing through vegetation before we set our eyes on a dominant silverback male and his group. Upon return from the deep forest, you will receive your gorilla tracking certificate, and later, after refreshing at the lodge, set out for a community walk, a charming experience with the local people and a closer look into their culture.

Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi; Boat cruise and Nature walk
After a beautiful breakfast, we transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, settle in and then head out for a boat cruise to the beautiful islands of the lake. There are many stories associated with these islands which you will have a chance to learn about. Return for lunch, relax at the lodge as we wait to be transferred back to Entebbe the next day.

End of Trip - Transfer back to Entebbe
Our trip has come to an end. We now check out of our lodge from Bunyonyi after a good breakfast and drive back to Entebbe for you to catch your flight. If you need an extra day in Entebbe, we can arrange for it at an extra cost.
