On This day the driver with a guide will come to your hotel at 8 am in the morning to peak you and drive you to Machame Gate ready to start your 7 days Machame route Kilimanjaro trekking tour. The Machame Route's 7-day trek commences with an early breakfast in Arusha. Proceed to Machame Village for water and a packed lunch. Transport to Machame Gate varies based on road conditions. Porters will organize belongings while your guide registers with Tanapa. Trek through the rainforest, embracing rain, mud, fog, and Colobus monkeys. After lunch, arrive at Machame Camp where spacious tents, snacks, boiled water, and a hot dinner await. Note: Nights can be freezing; warm clothing is vital.

Day 2

After a hearty breakfast, on your second trek day, bid farewell to the rainforest and step into the vast expanse of heath land moorland. Traverse numerous streams, traverse a rugged ridge, and enter the captivating Shira plateau at 3840 meters. Here, at Shira Camp, a stream nearby and a breathtaking view of the Eastern glaciers via the Western Breach await. Just like the first night, your tents will be ready, and the diligent porters will provide water for drinking and washing. Indulge in evening snacks and a chef-prepared dinner, but brace yourself for a frosty night, for temperatures plunge below freezing at this open campsite.

On the third day of the hike, adventurers venture beyond heath land and encounter a rugged, semi-desert landscape. After approximately five hours, they arrive at the Lava Tower—a weather-dependent opportunity to climb, enjoy packed lunches, and possibly experience altitude sickness. Post-lunch, a two-hour descent leads to the Barranco Campsite at 3950 meters. Nestled below the Breach and Great Barranco Wall, the campsite offers water for drinking and washing, followed by a captivating sunset dinner.

Day 4

Subsequently, the path meanders through the undulating terrain of Karanga Valley, presenting an opportune day for acclimatization.

After breakfast on the summit day, depart from Karanga Camp (3959 m) and merge with the Mweka Route, utilized for the final descent. Following an hour's hike, reach Barafu Hut, the last water source for porters due to water unavailability at Barafu Camp (4550 m). Positioned on a windy, rocky ridge, the campsite exposes tents to potential wind and rock hazards. Familiarize yourself with the site before nightfall. Enjoy an early dinner, ensuring ample rest prior to embarking on the summit that very night. The guide will provide detailed summit night preparations.

At 11:30 PM, your guide will rouse you for tea and biscuits, marking the start of your summit endeavor. The challenging path lies ahead, leading northwest through treacherous rocky scree—a test for your mind and body. After six hours, you'll conquer Stella Point (5685 m), perched on the rim of the crater, then trek for two more hours on a snow-laden trail to reach Uhuru Peak (5895 m), the pinnacle of Mount Kilimanjaro. Capture fleeting moments and savor tea, for the descent awaits—a three-hour journey to Barafu Camp. Following a satisfying lunch, venture onward via the Mweka Trail, meandering through scree, rocks, moorland, and rainforest, until you embrace the higher realms of the rainforest. Finally, relish a nourishing dinner, cleanse yourself, and find solace at Mweka Camp.

Day 7

Post-certificate bestowal, journey downwards to Mweka village, indulging in a delectable hot lunch within an hour.
