Shira trek is located in the western part of Kilimanjaro, and the trek takes us through a forest reserve, where our Kili guide shows us Kilimanjaro vegetation and types of wildflowers. Also, you will see many birds and animals like colobus Monkeys in the trees. Your hike through the beautifully rugged landscape of the Shira Plateau starts at 3,500 m above sea level. Climbers will see vast plains of the Amboseli National Park, and as far as Mount Meru.
